2. Acceptance of Terms

Use of our services is available only to individuals who are at least 18 years of age, or who are of legal age to enter binding agreements under applicable Thai law. By proceeding, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Where you act on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
3. Service Description
Reun Counsel provides family law services in Bangkok, Thailand, including but not limited to:
- Family Consultation Sessions (90-minute advisory meetings)
- Domestic Agreement Drafting (written arrangements between spouses or partners)
- Long-Form Family Court Representation (ongoing multi-stage proceedings)
All services are delivered from our office at 89 Soi Ari, Phaya Thai, Bangkok 10400. Remote sessions may be arranged at our discretion. Services are conducted primarily in English; Thai-language support is available upon arrangement.
The specific scope of any engagement is defined in a written Engagement Agreement. Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice, and initial contact does not create a solicitor-client relationship until a formal engagement is agreed in writing.
4. Client Responsibilities
In engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information as requested by our practitioners.
- Promptly disclose any changes in circumstance that may affect your matter.
- Respond to correspondence within reasonable timeframes.
- Refrain from providing misleading or false information, which may affect the quality of advice and may constitute a legal offence under Thai law.
- Use our website and services only for lawful purposes.
- Respect the confidentiality of documents shared with you in connection with your matter.
We reserve the right to decline or withdraw from an engagement where we have reason to believe information provided to us is deliberately withheld or misleading.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, design, structure, and branding — is the property of Reun Counsel and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, adapt, or distribute any content from this site without prior written consent.
Documents drafted by Reun Counsel on your behalf become your property upon full settlement of fees. However, the legal templates, structures, and approaches used remain proprietary to Reun Counsel and may not be used independently as templates for future documents without our written agreement.
6. Payment Terms
Service fees are as published and confirmed in writing at the time of engagement:
- Family Consultation Session: ฿1,800 per session
- Domestic Agreement Drafting: ฿3,400 per engagement
- Long-Form Family Court Representation: ฿10,600 (stage-based as agreed)
All fees are denominated in Thai Baht (THB). Payment terms, schedule, and accepted methods are detailed in your Engagement Agreement. Invoices are payable within the period stated. Late payments may result in a pause in services until the outstanding balance is settled.
Fees paid for consultation sessions are non-refundable once the session has taken place. For drafting and representation engagements, refund eligibility is governed by the terms of the Engagement Agreement. We encourage clients to discuss any concerns before a session so we can find a suitable arrangement.
7. Service-Specific Terms
7.1 Consultation Sessions
Sessions are scheduled by appointment. Please arrive on time; late arrivals may result in a shortened session. Rescheduling requires at least 24 hours' notice. We will do our best to accommodate requests with shorter notice where possible.
7.2 Domestic Agreement Drafting
The drafting process involves an initial meeting, a draft document, and a review stage. The number of revision rounds included is specified in the Engagement Agreement. Additional revisions requested beyond the agreed scope may be subject to additional fees. Final documents are provided in PDF and, where appropriate, in physical form for execution.
7.3 Court Representation
Long-form court representation engagements proceed in stages as defined in the Engagement Agreement. The timeline of court matters is ultimately determined by the Thai Family Court and is beyond our control. We will keep you informed of developments in a timely and considered manner. Engagement may be terminated by either party subject to the notice provisions of the Engagement Agreement.
8. Disclaimers
Information published on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Reun Counsel makes no representations that the information on this site is current, accurate, or applicable to your specific circumstances.
Engaging our services does not assure any particular outcome. The result of legal proceedings, negotiations, or document enforceability depends on many factors, including the courts, counterparties, and the specific facts of each matter. Our practitioners will always act with care and skill, but we cannot represent that any particular result will follow.
The website is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Reun Counsel's liability to you in connection with our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Reun Counsel shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special loss or damage arising in connection with our services or this website, including loss of income, loss of documents, or loss of opportunity, except in cases of fraud or gross negligence on our part.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reun Counsel, its practitioners, and staff from any claims, losses, costs, or liabilities — including reasonable legal fees — arising from:
- Your misuse of our website or services.
- Your breach of these Terms.
- False or misleading information provided to us.
- Any claim by a third party arising from your actions in connection with an engagement.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate a service engagement by giving written notice as specified in the Engagement Agreement. Upon termination:
- Any fees owing for work completed to the date of termination become immediately payable.
- Reun Counsel will return your documents and files in an orderly manner, subject to resolution of any outstanding fees.
- Provisions relating to confidentiality, intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
We reserve the right to withdraw from a matter immediately where we have reason to believe continued engagement would require us to act contrary to our professional obligations or applicable law.
12. Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Thai courts, with Bangkok courts being the designated venue.
Before initiating any formal proceedings, we encourage clients to contact us directly to attempt an informal resolution. Many concerns can be addressed through a direct conversation, and we are committed to handling complaints thoughtfully and promptly.
For formal complaints, please contact us in writing at [email protected]. We will acknowledge complaints within five business days and seek to resolve them within 30 days where possible.
13. General Provisions
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any applicable Engagement Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Reun Counsel with respect to your engagement of our services, and supersede all prior discussions or representations.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms on any occasion does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it on a future occasion.
Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms or an Engagement Agreement without our prior written consent. We may assign our administrative obligations to affiliated parties while maintaining our professional responsibilities to you.
Notices: Formal notices should be sent in writing to 89 Soi Ari, Phaya Thai, Bangkok 10400, or by email to [email protected].
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Any material changes will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Where changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active clients.
Your continued use of our website or services after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
